Oceânico Developments is the market leader in high quality property developments in Portugal. Specialising in creating luxury four and five star properties for the holiday home, relocation and investment markets, the company’s fully completed developments include Jardim da Meia Praia near Lagos, Estrela da Luz and Vila Baía in Praia da Luz and Quinta do Monte Funchal on the prestigious Funchal Ridge. Developments currently under construction include Belmar Spa & Beach Resort, overlooking Porto de Mós beach (completion Autumn 2009); Amendoeira, a €500 million golf resort in the district of Silves (first phase completion Autumn 2009); Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort in the Algarve and Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort on Portugal’s Silver Coast.
Oceânico Prestige Residence Club was launched in 2008 and offers eighth share ownership of a stunning, high specification property with unlimited and flexible usage, subject to reservation policies. Oceânico Resorts & Leisure oversees the management and operations of owners' properties in the Group's resorts, where it offers holiday rentals to the highest luxury standard. The resorts offer a range of facilities for guests and owners including restaurants, bars, cafés and a self-service wine bar; gymnasiums and spas; Wi-Fi internet access; local shuttle bus services; and tailor made holiday, golf, sporting and conference packages for small or larger groups. Oceânico Resorts & Leisure's property management offers online services and the Oceânico Owners Club, which ensures the quality of services across reservations, laundry and maid, maintenance, reception and manned security.
Oceânico Golf oversees the management and operations of the Group's golf courses. This currently includes the Oceânico Faldo and Oceânico O'Connor Jnr. courses at Amendoeira Golf Resort near Silves, and five renowned courses in Vilamoura (Oceânico Victoria, Oceânico Old Course, Oceânico Pinhal, Oceânico Millennium and Oceânico Laguna). Oceânico Golf will also manage the Severiano Ballesteros designed course at the Group´s new Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Resort.
Marking its presence in the USA, in December 2007 Oceânico Group USA purchased Little River Golf & Resort in the Pinehurst golf area of North Carolina, which includes an 18-hole Dan Maples designed golf course. Oceânico has now launched a new range of luxury properties at the resort available for outright purchase, including three and four bedroom southern style cottages and two and three bedroom condos.
