"Just got back from a week's stay at EDL, a well thought out complex with good security and everything you could possibly want! Two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, sauna, gym, free pool towels (if you buy a pass for 10 Euros), poolside bar and of course the Hugo Beatty Café Bar, which served excellent food/drinks. Apartment itself was very well laid out, had all mod cons and was very spacious. Will definitely stay here again and have no problem with recommending it to others. Liked? Too many to mention!! Disliked? Can't think of anything!
I'd recommend this resort for: A romantic getaway, girlfriend getaway, older travelers, great pool scene, families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists"

"We stayed at Jardim da Meia Praia last May and the accommodations are really lovely, set in private landscaped gardens. We stayed in a 3 bed townhouse which was very luxurious. The resort is about a 5 minute drive from the town centre of Lagos although there is a reasonable restaurant in the complex if you don't fancy going into town. We found the drive no problem although the road is a bit tight in places. You can always get taxi's if you don't fancy driving. Although it is not right in the town, the complex is lovely and quiet, and the town is easily reached by car, parking isn't a problem. I throughly recomend staying at these apartments."

"We give Estrela da Luz 10 out of 10. This is the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Our apartment was south-facing and overlooked the pools, and you also had a view of the sea. We are a family with two daughters aged 13 and 8 and we all loved this place. The complex has two large outdoor pools, an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, gymnasium, yoga classes, pool side bar/restaurants with lovely food, full restaurant. You need never leave the resort but if you do Luz village and beach are is only five minutes walk away, charming little streets, lots of restaurants and fab sandy beach. AND IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH.... Lovely Lagos town (free bus from Estrela) is nearby, and down the coast are some really wild surfing beaches. Perfect. Enjoy!! We will definitely be back!!!"

Just to say how much we enjoyed our break and cannot recommend it too highly. I have just emailed the details to one of my colleagues at work who has heard me going on and on about it!
We were so delighted at the space in the apartment and how clean, modern and well equipped it was. The sea view made it particularly special, thank you. The therapists at the salon couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and the treatments were absolutely wonderful.
We so want to come back next year but don't have any dates yet. I also have a dream of buying one of the apartments - that might take a little longer though!

Our first impression coming through the door of the apartment in Vila Baia was 'Wow!' It was so beautiful, so big, so fantastically furnished and equipped. The quality is just unbelievable and the under floor heating means it will be lovely to come out in the winter months. Vila Baia has everything you could wish for, beautiful walks and gardens and a lovely pool area with a fantastic restaurant.
