Pilates, Yoga, aqua aerobics and Elemis beauty treatments – new Pilates breaks in the western Algarve offer the feel good factor

A new range of luxury four-night Pilates breaks in Portugal have been launched by Oceânico Resorts & Leisure, combining the re-balancing exercise with Yoga, aqua aerobics and Elemis beauty treatments.
Available in May, June, September and October this year, each break has a fully qualified Pilates Institute trained instructor to lead guests through the gentle exercises that help restore natural muscle movement and control, while toning and strengthening the body.
Suitable for complete beginners and up to, but not including, Intermediate level, the courses are run in groups of up to nine people, with everyone having a pre–course assessment with the instructor on the first day.
Over the four days guests will be able to enjoy five Pilates classes, a relaxation/Yoga session, and an aqua aerobics class, together with two Elemis beauty treatments at Estrela Health & Beauty – a Skin Specific Facial and a Full Body Massage.
In addition, each break includes a drinks reception and welcome dinner on the first evening, all breakfasts and lunches, and a farewell dinner on the final night.
Accommodation is at the Estrela da Luz resort in Praia da Luz, which offers luxury apartments just 200m from the beach. Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym and exercise studio, health and beauty centre, multisports area, tennis court, the Hugo Beaty Bar & Café and the Calabaza restaurant.
Prices for the four–night Pilates break start from £312 per person in May or October, based on six people sharing a three–bedroom apartment. Prices for two people sharing a one–bedroom apartment start from £372 per person, with studios and two bedroom apartments also available. Additional dates for the break can be arranged for groups of six people or more.
Flights to Faro are not included, but are available with airlines including Monarch (www.flymonarch.com) and Jet2 (www.jet2.com). Car hire or taxi transfers to and from Faro airport can be arranged through Oceânico Resorts.
