Oceânico Serves Up New Algarve Tennis Breaks for 2008

Group and individual tuition offered in new tennis breaks from £198pp. Improve serves, lobs, volleys and backhands in time for the tennis season, with a new range of tennis breaks from Algarve specialist Oceânico Resorts & Leisure.

Combining group and one-to-one tuition, the one-week breaks are available from January 2008 - providing plenty of time to improve skills ready for the summer.

Guests will stay in luxury self-catering accommodation at an Oceânico resort in the western Algarve, with a Tennis Academy Course on four days including group lessons with an expert tennis coach, a one-hour private lesson and a faults and fix list to take away. Additional play is available as required.

Accommodation is available at a choice of one of Oceânico's four-star resorts - Estrela da Luz and Vila Baía, both situated less than 200m from the beach in Praia da Luz or Jardim da Meia Praia near Lagos, with townhouses or apartments available for up to six people. All resorts feature a range of on-site facilities including restaurants, swimming pools and tennis courts.

A seven night break in May 2008 costs from £242 per person based on six sharing at the Jardim da Meia Praia resort, or poolside apartments at the Vila Baía resort are available from £319 per person based on four sharing.

The Algarve also offers a wide choice of other activities including horse riding, cycling, diving, surfing, yacht charters, dolphin watching, paragliding, and a range of theme parks.

Flights to Faro are not included, but are available with airlines including Monarch (http://www.flymonarch.com/) and Jet2 (http://www.jet2.com/). Car hire can be arranged through Oceânico Resorts.
