Óbidos - the silver coast
With work now underway on the 2 courses designed by Nick Faldo and Christy O'Connor Jnr at Oceânico's Amendoeira resort the Spanish legend Severiano Ballesteros has been recruited to help create a new Golf Resort at Óbidos, 70km (42 Miles) north of Lisbon.
The project is an exciting new joint venture linking Oceânico Developments with the MSF Corporation a Portuguese construction company that builds Marinas, hotels, apartment buildings, in Portugal, Sao Tome e Principe (African Islands), Cape Verde, Angola, Namibia and Poland.
The site covers 130 Hectares and will comprise one golf course - designed by Ballesteros - a mix of 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and 3 & 4 bedroom luxury villas, a 5 star condominium Hotel Spa, plus a full range of amenities in the Commercial and Leisure centre.
